New Year's holidays are the best time to update your wardrobe. All fashion designer things, which cost very expensive in summer, are announced a last season collection in January, and prices immediately fall down. Of course, such grandiose sales aren’t held everywhere. Stores in some cities lure buyers by a promise of huge discounts, but in fact they are going to give a quite small discount. Another thing is New York, which is called the capital of world fashion. Famous NY designers set the tone in fashion as well as their colleagues in Paris and Milan. Famous fashion designers’ boutiques in Manhattan are even more than in Europe. The prices are not particularly high. To look fashionable and stylish in New York is not as ruinous as in other cities. And that's even without permanent sales which allow saving on purchases much more. Season fashion sales in New York begin in November with the discount that is about 30%. But it is not the limit, Christmas sales enter the marathon by the end of December and discounts increase to 50%. But everybody wait for the 2^nd January, when prices fall down to 80% and then shopping boom begins in New York!

Garment District, is especially famous of prices, is located between 2^nd and 8^th Avenue. There are almost one-third of U.S. factories, producing clothes, and many stores of famous designers. Boutiques of famous brands, are located at 5^th Avenue, arrange sales too. It is quite possible to meet some celebrities, attracting by huge discounts at Louis Vuitton, Bulgari, Prada, Fendi or Gucci stores during the Christmas holidays. You may find Polo, Yves St. Laurent, Gianni Versace, Valentino brand stores on Madison Avenue. Of course, in the chase for a fashionable outfit you can not ignore the enormous and famous New York department stores, where you can find all at once. You will find Bloomingdale's Mall on 3^rd Avenue near 59^th Street and Macy's department store is located between 34^th Avenue and Broadway. These gigantic shopping malls are a paradise for shopaholics. And even those people, who are not too keen on shopping, will be here all day and won’t leave them without new acquisitions. I have a real bargain after that.
